The head office for this particular regional unit is in Taplow, Maidenhead. It is a brand new office (built in June 2021) which our client remarkably built themselves. It is a typical high end riverside office, with the emphasis on employees having a vibrant environment to work from.
Summary of development:
Over 760 Apartments divided into 3 blocks of RC Frame. Works are underway and have been piled. The successful candidate will oversee one of the 3 blocks undergoing superstructure framing.
The build cost of the scheme totals 140 million pounds, whilst the block which the successful candidate will be overseeing will be 42million pounds.
List of some relevant objectives of role:
- Working productively in line with remit alongside the current team which comprises of Senior Surveyor and Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
- Implementing and supporting on the commercial strategy for procurement whilst playing an active role in design development, ensuring quality standards and programme requirements are achieved.
- Having the mindset of “Think Customer” which shows in the final delivery of works
- To price all works in line with current market conditions
- Attempting where possible, to improve company/ project related profits
- Sub-contract procurement
- Value engineering
- Due diligence reports
- Monitor with project manager expenditure
- Cost reporting once a month (office visit) to management.

Salary and Benefits Package:
- Basic Salary Negotiable – Between £55k and £60k per annum
